We do a semi-annual walk-through on each of our properties and we don’t charge you any extra to do it. Why? Because you deserve to know if the fire detectors in your house have working batteries, right? What about the HVAC air filter? Did you know that a dirty air filter is one of the leading causes of HVAC system failure? Did you know that a dirty filter places unnecessary strain on the fan and motor, and ultimately could cause the entire system to fail AND clogs the air ducts — requiring that they be cleaned more frequently? Keeping up with these simple things is often overlooked by renters – especially the ones who only plan to rent for a few years before they move on. It is so important to YOU to know that your home is being taken care of. That’s why we’re here. We require our tenants to keep up with basic housekeeping. They know — before we walk in for the inspection — what we’re expecting from them and what we’ll charge them if they fail to keep up the standards. People generally only feel obligated to live up to the standards that people set for them! Our standards are high. We want your home to be occupied, and we want your home to be cared for. It’s that simple.
